On Tuesday, Nov. 12, Military Appreciation Night will take place during the EWC basketball games, with the women's game tipping off at 5 p.m.. Both the men's and women's teams will recognize active and veteran military personnel in a special ceremony before each game.

All military personnel will receive free admission, an American flag lapel pin, and special recognition for their service. The local National Guard will also be in attendance, with an informational table set up throughout the evening.

"We want to recognize those who have served and those who are serving," said Men's Basketball Head Coach Bill Engel. "We think those heroes are underappreciated and should be honored for their service. Passing that appreciation on to the younger generation is important."

EWC invites the community to attend these events in support of our veterans.
