TORRINGTON, Wyo. — Eastern Wyoming College Women's Basketball welcomes Leah Pitt to the Lady Lancers program for the upcoming season.

Pitt, a native of Cairns, Queensland, Australia, and a graduate of Cairns State High School, brings talent, determination and an exciting international presence to one of the region's rising collegiate basketball programs. Her commitment to excellence on the court and in the classroom makes her an outstanding addition to the EWC community.

"I felt that EWC was the place for me," Pitt said. "The way Coach Larsen speaks very highly of the girls and the community is what got my attention. I'm excited and grateful to be a part of the team and look forward to making memories and relationships on and off the court."

Head Women's Basketball Coach Tim Larsen said he is excited to welcome Pitt to the Lady Lancers roster.

"Leah is a tremendous addition to our program," Larsen said. "She brings skill, energy and a great mindset to our team. We're excited to have her join our family and look forward to seeing the impact she will make on and off the court."

As she begins her collegiate basketball career, Pitt is ready to contribute to the continued success of the Lady Lancers while pursuing her academic goals at Eastern Wyoming College.
