TORRINGTON, Wyo. — Eastern Wyoming College Men's Basketball has announced the re-signing of Nate Hinkle for the upcoming season.

Hinkle, a native of Dubois, WY, redshirted during the 2025-26 campaign and has worked to earn an opportunity to become a consistent contributor in the Lancers program.

Prior to his time at Eastern Wyoming College, Hinkle was a standout at Dubois High School. He earned all-conference honors for three consecutive years, received all-state recognition once and surpassed the 1,000-point milestone during his senior season.

In addition to his success on the court, Hinkle has excelled academically. He earned honor roll recognition as a senior at Dubois and currently maintains a 4.0 GPA at Eastern Wyoming College.

Head Coach Bill Engel said Hinkle's development and work ethic will position him for a larger role.

"Nate has been an absolute gem at EWC," Engel said. "He is industrious, an outstanding teammate and a talented athlete who can play multiple positions. Nate will compete for significant playing time in the 2026-27 season."

Hinkle is expected to provide versatility and depth for the Lancers as they prepare for the upcoming season.
