Sheldon Le
Assistant Men’s & Women’s Basketball Coach / Living Coordinator
Eastern Wyoming College
Sheldon Le brings over a decade of coaching experience to Eastern Wyoming College as the Assistant Men’s & Women’s Basketball Coach and Living Coordinator. Known for his passion for player development, program-building, and leadership, Sheldon has helped transform multiple programs at both the high school and AAU levels. Most recently, Sheldon led a men’s program in Arizona to a historic 28-2 season — the school’s first 25+ win record — earning a Regional Championship and a semifinal finish in the state playoffs. Under his leadership, the team was #7-ranked offense in the state, known for its high-intensity defense and elite transition game. That momentum carried into the following season, culminating in a state championship.
Previously, Sheldon helped guide a women’s program to the quarterfinals in the state playoffs, also achieving a record-setting 25+ win season. In 2020, he was part of a men’s program where the program won the Region Title and advanced to the quarterfinals. Sheldon and staff were awarded the Coaching Staff of the Year! In addition to his school coaching roles, Sheldon coached an AAU team ranked #11 in the West Coast. Had been invited to the national tournament in Los Angeles and finishing as runner-up. He has also been instrumental in rebuilding and elevating various high school programs, known for fostering competitive excellence and a strong team culture.
Sheldon earned his degree in Educational Studies and Human Development from Arizona State University, a foundation he has used to teach middle school and high school special education, math, and physical education. Beyond the classroom and court, he’s worked with nonprofit organizations and youth programs, raising funds and creating access to sports for underserved communities — including partnerships with the Boys and Girls Club and charter schools.
At Eastern Wyoming College, Sheldon is committed to developing well-rounded student-athletes who are prepared to succeed not only in the game but in life.
